In the name of God Amen. I Julius Mann of the Parish of St. Stephen nigh Launceston in the County of Cornwall being weak in Body but of sound mind memory Prise be God do make this my last will testament in manner form following that is to say
First I bequeath my soul to God who gave it and my Body to Xian Burial at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named.
Also I charge bind all my goods chattels credit and effects with for the payment of my debts funeral charges and the legacys under mentioned that is to say
First I give and bequeath unto my Son Julius Mann one Shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto son John Mann one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto son Richard Mann one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto son John Mann one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto daughter Willmott Mann one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto daughter Joan S. wife of Francis Sumpter one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath unto Daughter Mary Mann one shilling.
Also after payment of my Debt above legacy I give devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my goods chattels credit effects to my dear wife Mary Mann whom I make appoint the whole and soul executrix of this will testament. And it is further my will that in case my son Julius shall continue to live a single life with his mother my said wife Mary assist her as he have me of late in the business I now keep that then he shall have half the clear profits which shall arrive from hence otherwise nothing show of And farther it is my my will that whatever effects my said executrix shall die possessed of or be worth at her death shall be equally divided among such of my children as shall be then alive. And I do hereby renounce all former wills and testaments by me at any time here before made how by do claim this only to be my last will and testament witness whereof I have hereunto set may hand and seal this 3rd day of March 1748.
