Narrative
Deaf and dumb. Pupil at the Glasgow Institution for the Deaf and Dumb in 1851. Glass stainer in 1861. Glass painter and stainer in 1871. Lay missionary in 1881. Church missionary in 1891. Missionary preacher in 1901.
He was a missionary for the Liverpool Deaf and Dumb Benevolent Society. In 1893 he was presented a handsome gold watch for 15 years service with this society. His wife was also deaf and dumb.
In 191 he gave a paper at the Deaf and Dumb Congress in Glasgow on "Danderson's method of educating the deaf".
